Bramwell Garage Doors Atlanta runs on a simple idea: the person who shows up at your door is the company. No subcontractors, no mystery crews. The technicians you’ll meet below are the ones who answer your questions, make the call on a repair, and sign their name to the written guarantee. Some have been turning wrenches since the early 2000s. Others came up through the trade more recently. What unites them is the Kingswell standard: written price before work starts, real arrival window, clean job site, and a written guarantee on every single job.
Styles & brands we work with

Our People
Marcus Ellery – Owner & Lead Technician
Marcus started working on garage doors in 2001 and never found a reason to stop. He’s the one who answers the phone half the time, and the one in the truck the other half. His specialty is torsion spring work – the heavy coil mounted above the door that handles most of the lifting weight – because he says that’s where the real danger and the real skill live. He’s certified to service every major brand the company carries: LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Clopay, Amarr, Wayne Dalton, Craftsman, and Raynor. Outside of work, Marcus keeps a 1978 Chevy pickup running, which he claims is better training for diagnosing old garage door openers than any manual.
Dana R. – Senior Installer
Dana has been installing residential garage doors in the Atlanta market for 14 years, and before that she framed houses in Cobb County. That framing background shows: she’s obsessive about level, plumb, and square when setting a new door. Dana leads most of the full-door replacement jobs, from standard 16-foot two-car doors to custom wood carriage doors in historic neighborhoods like Inman Park and Grant Park. She’s Clopay and Amarr trained for new installation, which means she knows the quirks of each manufacturer’s track and panel system. On weekends you’ll find her coaching youth softball at Piedmont Park.
Tomas V. – Service Coordinator
Tomas is the voice on the phone when you call before 8 a.m. or after 10 p.m. He’s been with Bramwell for six years, and he’s the reason the trucks actually arrive in the window they promise. Tomas understands enough about door mechanics to triage calls correctly: a broken cable versus a snapped spring versus a board that just needs reprogramming. That means he doesn’t just log your call; he listens for what’s actually wrong. He’s originally from Savannah, follows Atlanta United religiously, and keeps a running list of the best breakfast tacos on Buford Highway, which he will absolutely share if you ask.
Jamal P. – Apprentice Technician
Jamal came to Bramwell through a trade-school program two years ago, and he’s been riding with Marcus or Dana on every call since. He’s not sent to a job alone yet, but he handles a lot of the hands-on work under direct supervision: roller swaps, track realignment, sensor cleaning, opener troubleshooting basics. Jamal is studying for his manufacturer certification exams, with a focus on LiftMaster opener systems. He’s the tallest person on the team by a wide margin, which sounds like a joke but has genuinely saved the day on high-track setups in old industrial-style lofts around Castleberry Hill.
One Standard, Every Job
The Kingswell Way isn’t a poster in the break room. It’s five practices we follow on every visit, without exception. First, say the price before the work starts – a written number you agree to, not an estimate that swells later. Second, show up in the window – we give you a real arrival time, not “sometime between 8 and 6.” Third, leave the place cleaner than we found it. Garage doors shed rust, grease, and old parts; none of that should stay in your driveway. Fourth, put the guarantee in writing, not just mentioned at the door. And fifth, come back if it fails. That last one is the 365-Day Done Right Promise. If a covered repair fails inside a year, Bramwell returns at no charge. Every technician on this page carries that standard on every job in Atlanta, from Buckhead to East Point to Decatur.
